2009 Craft Lager Festival

SATURDAY, AUGUST 8th and SUNDAY, AUGUST 9th from 1 PM to 6 PM each day

Join us in Historic Manitou Springs, Colorado, for the best lager beers you have ever tasted! All proceeds from this event support open space
and parks in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. The more tickets we sell, the more we can support our local trails and parks.

The 7th Annual Craft Lager Festival, held for two days this year, will feature:
  • The finest hand-crafted lagers in the U.S.
  • Brewers from more than 20 states on hand. Talk to the brewers themselves about their beers
  • America’s first solar-powered beer festival
  • Live music and dancing in Memorial Park, Manitou Springs
  • Discounted tickets for sponsors!
  • Rain or shine! Party tents for rain or shade
  • Free soft drinks for designated drivers
  • Free parking, first come first served at the park
  • Live music and dancing in the park with Big Paddy & Grass It Up on Saturday and the Jack Trades & Creating a Newsense on Sunday
  • A non-profit event staffed by volunteers

Historic Manitou Springs offers world-class outdoor activities, great sights such as Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods, and abundant nearby lodging and dining. Walk to the park from local motels and B&Bs. Come discover this scenic, historic city at the foot of the Colorado Rockies.

From US 24, head west on Manitou Avenue until you reach Old Man's Trail or El Paso Boulevard. Turn right (north) and look for the event!


Due to the lack of phone lines, admittance to the event and merchandise will be CASH ONLY. To order tickets in advance, please check out our online event store. In order to enjoy the lagers, you must present a valid photo ID and be 21 years of age or older.

Brewers from across the U. S. will be pouring craft lagers along with live music and dancing. Come support open space and enjoy some incredible lagers.
